Bank of Korea Issues Two Commemorative Coins for '2023 Saemangeum Scout Jamboree'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] The Bank of Korea announced on the 11th that it will issue two types of commemorative coins to promote the 2023 Saemangeum '25th World Scout Jamboree' event both domestically and internationally.
The commemorative coins will be available for purchase reservation from September 1 to 16 through the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation and Woori and NongHyup Banks, and will be distributed starting October 24.
The selling price includes the face value plus additional sales-related costs, with a single coin priced at 63,000 KRW and a set of two coins at 129,000 KRW.
The total issuance volume is 14,000 coins, with 7,000 coins per type.
