Titleist "Trusted Choice"... 'No.1 in Global Tour Usage and Winning Rate'
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Titleist maintained the number one position in golf ball usage rate and winning rate in major tours worldwide during the first half of this season.
Starting with the 1949 US Open, this marks an unprecedented record of 74 consecutive years as the number one in usage and winning rates. On the 10th, Titleist announced, "From the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, KPGA Korean Tour, to the KLPGA Tour, it was the most chosen by players," adding, "Pro V1 and Pro V1x have held an unshakable number one position."
Titleist was chosen by three out of four tour players worldwide. The average usage rate is 74% with a winning rate of 69%. This is more than four times the performance compared to the second-place brand (14%). Since the early stages of the brand's establishment, Titleist has recognized the importance of tours early on and has continued a strategy of showcasing product performance through players with the world's best skills. It is well known for reflecting players' feedback from the product development stage to completion.
Before the product is released to the market, a prototype is made and provided first to tour players through the ‘Tour Seeding’ process. Based on the feedback and comments collected from players during this process, improvements are identified and further enhanced through ‘Tour Validation.’ Titleist consists of more than 75 researchers including chemists, physicists, mathematicians, computer engineers, and engineers.
