Wemade Invests in M2E Project 'Superwalk' That Rewards Exercise
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Wemade announced on the 9th that it has made a strategic investment in the M2E (Move to Earn) project 'Superwalk,' which rewards users with tokens for exercising.
Superwalk introduced a new token economy through a leaderboard system where utility tokens are earned based on relative scores.
Within one month of minting its non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Superwalk ranked second in total cumulative trading volume on Pala, the largest domestic NFT marketplace, attracting significant interest from users in Korea.
The Superwalk application launched its public beta phase 1 on July 29 and is available for use by searching on the App Store. In August, it plans to launch a 'Basic Mode' similar to a pedometer to lower the entry barrier for users unfamiliar with blockchain.
Through this strategic investment, Wemade plans to expand the M2E ecosystem on WEMIX 3.0 and explore various synergies in the future.
