China's cumulative sales surpass 300 million units, Vietnam secures market position within one year through rigorous quality control
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Orion announced on the 9th that its jelly brand 'My Gummy' is capturing the tastes of Asian consumers, with significant sales growth not only in Korea but also in China and Vietnam.
According to Orion, the total cumulative sales of the My Gummy brand in Korea and China until July this year reached 16 billion KRW and 25.5 billion KRW respectively, marking a 65% and 62% increase compared to the same period last year, achieving record-high sales in both countries during the same period.
In Vietnam, where My Gummy was launched in July last year, cumulative sales in the first half of this year reached 4.8 billion KRW. Considering that the actual price level difference between Korea and Vietnam is about 3 to 4 times, Orion analyzed that this is a remarkably high sales achievement in a short period.
