Targeting the MZ Generation... KT Y Collaborates with Nice Weather on Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] KT announced on the 9th that its brand exclusively for people in their 20s, 'Y,' is collaborating on a project with the convenience store concept select shop 'Nice Weather.' The collaboration between Y and Nice Weather is the first project of the 20s exclusive benefits platform 'Y Box.'
Through this collaboration project, Y and Nice Weather will release about 10 limited-edition products and jointly operate a pop-up store at the Nice Weather Market located in Garosugil, Gangnam-gu.
The collaboration between Y and Nice Weather was inspired by Y's brand color reminiscent of the emerald sea and Nice Weather's brand color evoking a clear sky. The collaboration is carried out under the slogan "Keep the Youth Forever."
The limited-edition products from Y and Nice Weather are composed of items that can be enjoyed at the beach, such as swimming goggles, keyrings, beach balls, beach towels, towels, T-shirts, and market bags, designed to provide a refreshing feeling suitable for the summer season. They aimed to embody the brand identities of Nice Weather, which pursues cultural consumption, and Y, which supports the shining 20s.
These products can be viewed and purchased directly through KT's 20s benefits platform 'Y Box' app and at the Y and Nice Weather pop-up store.
The Y and Nice Weather pop-up store will operate for five days from the 12th to the 16th. It is decorated with an exhibition space reminiscent of a resort beach, a large media wall, and an emotional photo zone, themed as an urban sea to support the midsummer youth.
On the 12th, a DJ performance will be held from 3 PM to 9 PM as an opening event for the Y and Nice Weather pop-up store. Additionally, from the 13th to the 16th, customers who verify the Y Box app at the event zone will receive gifts.
