[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Hana Bank received the Best Award in the Digital Banking Innovation category from The Banker, a financial magazine published by the UK Financial Times. It is interpreted that the online branch service 'MyBranch,' tailored to customers, received favorable reviews.
Hana Bank announced on the 9th that it won the Best Mobile Bank Award at the 'Innovation in Digital Banking Awards 2022' hosted by The Banker.
The 'Innovation in Digital Banking Awards,' held online, presents awards in nine categories including mobile and payment services to financial institutions worldwide. Hana Bank was selected as the Best Mobile Bank, reflecting the competitiveness and achievements of its digital banking channel 'MyBranch.'
'MyBranch' is an omnichannel banking service that combines the convenience of digital banking with the strengths of face-to-face branches. Unlike traditional online banking, it offers customized financial content and online-offline linked customer management at individual branches opened according to customer characteristics.
The Banker highly evaluated Hana Bank’s ‘MyBranch’ for establishing 7,500 dedicated branches for corporate employees and apartment residents since its launch in April last year, attracting about 40,000 customers.
