The Ground Cools for Free... Busan Gyeongnam Racing Park Water Play Ground Fountain Also Open on Friday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The floor fountain at Busan Gyeongnam Racing Park, a famous summer cooling facility in western Busan that offers a free way to beat the heat, will also operate every Friday starting from the 5th.
The park previously operated the fountain only on Saturdays and Sundays, but to allow more people to enjoy water play, they have added an extra day of "cooling off."
On Fridays and Saturdays, it operates from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The fountain runs for 30 minutes at the start of each hour, followed by a 30-minute break, repeating this cycle five times a day. It will not operate during rain or when facility inspections are needed.
