[Report] "A Variety of Flavored Beers and Foods in One Place" Visiting the Blue Moon Popup Store
Golden Blue to Operate 'Blue Moon' Popup in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul Until Year-End
Enjoy Various Menus Including Lasagna and Highballs
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] "A Blue Moon has risen over Seoul."
Golden Blue International opened a pop-up store for the wheat beer brand 'Blue Moon' in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, last June. The newly opened Blue Moon pop-up store is operated as the fourth Blue Moon Tap House in the world, following locations in Virginia, USA, Panama City, and Valencia, Spain.
Visiting the Blue Moon pop-up store on the afternoon of the 3rd, it was a space where visitors could comfortably enjoy a variety of flavorful beers and food in one place. Despite being a weekday lunchtime, the pop-up store was bustling with visitors, with about 50 seats fully occupied. This seemed to be the effect of offering a diverse meal menu. The menu showed eight items available at lunch, including 'Blue Moon Lasagna,' and 17 items at dinner, adding dishes like 'Blue Moon Ragunacho.'

In fact, it was easy to find people enjoying a glass of beer along with their meals at the store that day.
The pop-up store was decorated with Blue Moon balls and Blue Moon kegs, symbolizing the blue moon, making it instantly recognizable as a Blue Moon pop-up store. The space featured high ceilings and large windows, creating an open atmosphere, with a low-saturation blue and beige interior representing Blue Moon, giving a comfortable rather than flashy impression. In one corner of the store, a 'Gathering Zone' inspired by orange garnish was set up under the theme 'Together Again,' making it convenient for group gatherings.
The most impressive aspect was the Blue Moon draft beer served with orange garnish. Perhaps because Blue Moon draft beer is not easily accessible in Korea, its fresh and bright flavor stood out even more. Besides Blue Moon draft beer, it was also notable that various beers and highballs were available. Along with 'Miller,' the flagship lager beer brand of Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC), which owns Blue Moon, Golden Blue, the domestic importer and distributor of Blue Moon, also sold highballs. Golden Blue plans to operate Blue Moon pop-up stores in Seoul, Busan, and Gwangju until the end of this year.
