"Sweet and Rich Sweet Potato Flavor" Orion Launches 'Mutukttuk Goguma Chip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Orion announced on the 3rd that it has launched ‘Muttukttuk Goguma Chip,’ which captures the sweet and rich flavor of sweet potatoes.
Muttukttuk Goguma Chip features thickly sliced sweet potatoes, about 2.5mm thick, with the skin on, offering a crisp texture that breaks with a snap. By adding seasoning developed in-house at the Orion Global Research Institute, it brings out the rich flavor of sweet potatoes along with a subtly spreading sweet taste in the mouth. To achieve the optimal texture and flavor, Orion applied its proprietary raw material control technology and low-temperature frying method, incorporating its unique snack manufacturing know-how.
Orion focused on the widespread use of sweet potatoes as a natural ingredient in snacks such as ice cream and beverages and began product development. After more than a year of research, they introduced Muttukttuk Goguma Chip, which preserves the original feel of the raw ingredient while allowing it to be enjoyed lightly like a snack.
