Naju Public Library Wraps Up First Half Family Experience Events

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Naju Public Library announced on the 2nd that it has concluded the first half family experience event at the library, which was operated for families with young children and elementary school students in the area.
This experience event began in April with a meeting with author Meli, who wrote "Sea Bathhouse," and from May to July, the library operated a leather experience program called "Picture Book Playground."
The main theme of the July Picture Book Playground was "Our Family Cooperation," where participants read books such as ▲Gloves ▲The Giant Turnip ▲Lamang Who Brought Fire together with the instructor and shared their impressions.
Post-reading activities included ▲Centipede Leg Cooperation Relay ▲Building Marshmallow Towers using Spaghetti Noodles.
Participants in the experience said, "It was good to participate as a family and to see behaviors of my child with others that I could not observe at home."
Naju Public Library plans to operate "Meet the Author" and "Picture Book Playground" on the last Saturday of every month until November.
