Jin Air Conducts Jeju Island Environmental Cleanup Activity with Paul Bassett

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Jin Air announced on the 2nd that it conducted an environmental cleanup activity in Jeju Island in collaboration with specialty coffee shop Paul Bassett.
The activity, held the previous day, involved about 20 employees from both companies, including Jin Air flight attendants and Paul Bassett baristas, who jogged while picking up trash in a plogging format. The youngest World Barista Champion, Paul Bassett, also participated, walking the Jeju Olle Trail Course 17 and collecting various types of litter.
In particular, both companies used supplies such as biodegradable vinyl gloves, tongs, and pouches made from recycled nylon to carry out the plogging activity, emphasizing the purpose of the environmental protection campaign.
Jin Air and Paul Bassett will also launch a customer participation plogging campaign to encourage involvement in environmental protection activities. The campaign runs from the 11th of this month to the 18th of next month and is open to everyone. Participants can freely complete plogging activities around their workplace or home and share SNS certification photos with hashtags such as #JinAir, #PaulBassett, and #GreenCampaign. Jin Air and Paul Bassett will gift round-trip domestic flight tickets and Paul Bassett tumblers to selected participants through a draw. Additionally, to support proper plogging practices, eco-friendly plogging kits consisting of eco-bags, biodegradable vinyl, and barista pouches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through Jin Air’s online shopping mall, Jinistore.
