Yangju City Provides Up to 200 Won per Liter Support for Purchasing 'Agricultural Duty-Free Fuel'
Agricultural Workers Who Received Tax-Free Fuel Cards from Local Nonghyup
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 30th that it will support the purchase cost of tax-free fuel for agriculture to help farmers facing management difficulties due to rising international oil prices and increased prices of agricultural materials.
The support targets farmers who have obtained tax-free fuel cards from local agricultural cooperatives in Yangju. Applicants must submit the business application form and consent form for personal (credit) information inquiry to the Eup/Myeon/Dong administrative welfare centers and local agricultural cooperatives.
From August 1 to November 30, subsidies ranging from a minimum of 100 KRW to a maximum of 200 KRW per liter will be provided for the purchase of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. The total support volume is 2.62 million liters.

Previously, the city increased the project budget by 525 million KRW in the first supplementary budget of this year to support 50% of the price difference caused by the increase in tax-free fuel prices for agriculture.
