H2 MEET "Over 80 Parts Companies Participate in Hydrogen Storage and Transportation Sector"
Domestic Parts Companies Actively Enter 'Hydrogen Industry' as Future Growth Engine
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The H2 MEET Organizing Committee reported that, as of the tally of participating companies in the ‘hydrogen storage and transportation sector’ for the upcoming ‘H2 MEET’ opening on the 31st of next month, about 80 component companies, accounting for approximately 37% of all companies, are utilizing the ‘hydrogen industry’ as a future new business area.
Chairman Manki Jeong stated on the 28th, "Hydrogen storage and transportation technologies and industries are expected to be key factors in accelerating hydrogen trade and the hydrogen economy," adding, "This can be confirmed through the exhibits and activities of many companies participating in this H2 MEET, including those in steel, energy, and materials."
Currently, domestic companies confirmed to participate in hydrogen storage and transportation at H2 MEET include ▲Balmax Technology (natural gas fuel supply system) ▲SeAH Changwon Special Steel (special steel) ▲Wonil TNI (vaporizer) ▲GTC (compressor) ▲Hi-Air Korea (air conditioner) ▲Korea Fiber (composite materials). Foreign companies include ▲Leonic Korea (flow meter) ▲Korea Tatsuno (fuel dispenser). These component companies have exhibited new technologies and products related to hydrogen storage and transportation at this exhibition based on their core technologies and expertise.
The representative exhibited technologies and products from these companies include ‘hydrogen chargers’, ‘hydrogen storage alloys’, ‘hydrogen storage cylinders’, ‘hydrogen compressors’, and ‘hydrogen charging coolers’.

Meanwhile, H2 MEET, where various hydrogen technologies from domestic and international companies can be experienced, will be held for four days from the 31st of next month to September 3rd at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. This exhibition is expected to feature over 210 companies and institutions from 12 countries worldwide, unveiling new products and technologies related to hydrogen energy, hydrogen mobility, and hydrogen production, storage, and transportation, with approximately 30,000 visitors anticipated on-site.
