SR announced on the 26th that a signal failure occurred at Singyeongju Station on the Geoncheon Connection Line in the early morning, causing the control center to order reduced-speed operation, resulting in disruptions to high-speed train services.
As a result, as of 9 a.m. that day, train number 304, which departed from Busan at 5:45 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Suseo at 8:08 a.m., and train number 306, which departed from Busan at 6 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Suseo at 8:41 a.m., were each delayed by about one hour. Consequently, all SRT trains in both directions were running 20 to 30 minutes late.
