[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The Presidential Office announced in a press release on the afternoon of the 21st that "Indonesian President Joko Widodo will make an official visit to Korea for one night and two days from the 27th to the 28th upon the invitation of President Yoon Suk-yeol."
The Presidential Office expects that President Joko Widodo's visit will serve as an important opportunity to deepen the special strategic partnership between Korea and Indonesia and to strengthen cooperation between Korea and ASEAN.
Before President Joko Widodo's visit, President Yoon plans to have a phone call on the 22nd to share recognition of the importance of the visit.

This visit marks approximately three years since President Joko Widodo last attended the Korea-ASEAN Special Summit and Korea-Mekong Summit held in Busan in November 2019.
