On the 21st, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it held the 11th Urban Planning Committee Subcommittee (authorized) and approved a revised plan for the Bongcheon 1-1 housing reconstruction maintenance plan in the area of 728-57 Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu. The Bongcheon 1-1 maintenance district is adjacent to Boramae Park and Boramae Hospital, and with the recent opening of the Sillim Line, it is considered a station area for Dangok Station and Boramae Hospital Station.
The Bongcheon 1-1 maintenance district was designated as a maintenance district on November 26, 2009, but the project was delayed until the establishment of the association in 2019 due to lawsuits with Gwanak District Office related to the cancellation of the association establishment approval in 2010.
Through this decision, the mixed pedestrian and vehicle passage within the housing complex was changed to a public pedestrian passage, and the plan for maintenance infrastructure with low utility was adjusted to secure an additional 17 public housing units, increasing from 50 to 67 units. As a result, the Bongcheon 1-1 maintenance district is planned with an area of 35,613.8㎡, a floor area ratio of up to 269.30%, a maximum of 30 floors, and a total of 807 households (including 67 public housing units).
Considering that elementary, middle, and high schools are located nearby, a youth cultural facility with a total floor area of 1,004㎡ was secured through donation. The facility’s affiliated parking lot with 15 spaces will be shared and utilized with residents of nearby low-rise residential areas where parking spaces are insufficient.
