Daesung Energy officials are conducting a prize draw event for electronic billing and mobile self-meter reading customers on the 20th.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daesung Energy held a prize draw event in the first half of this year for customers who applied for electronic city gas bills and participated in mobile self-meter reading.
The prize draw targeted approximately 670,000 customers who received electronic bills and conducted mobile self-meter readings from January to the end of June this year.
At the prize draw event, five winners of Jeju Island travel vouchers worth 1.5 million KRW were selected, and the winners will be notified through announcements on the Daesung Energy website and individual contact.
Since January 2020, Daesung Energy has been running a campaign for electronic bills using KakaoTalk and its self-developed mobile self-meter reading application, aiming to enhance customer convenience through expanded non-face-to-face services and to protect the environment by reducing paper bills.
By the end of June this year, 670,000 households had applied for electronic bills, an increase of 40,000 compared to the previous year, and among 370,000 households subject to self-meter reading, 220,000 households participated in self-meter reading.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 and other factors, customer participation in non-face-to-face services has steadily increased, resulting in a reduction of 3.9 million paper bills issued in the first half of the year, significantly contributing to environmental protection.
