[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do recently announced on the 20th that it conducted safety and health education for 76 participants in the second half of 2022 local community job projects.
This education was prepared to prevent industrial accidents by raising workers' safety awareness and to create a safe job environment.
The training focused on public job safety rules, preemptive measures for various accident cases, and emergency response methods in case of accidents.
Useful information for preventing heatstroke, such as work guidelines for coping with summer heat waves, was also shared.
Participants who completed the training will be assigned to 15 workplaces until the end of October, including the creation and management of Jangseong Neighborhood Park, management of flower beds in the floodplain area of Hwangryonggang River, and creation of rest spaces in public sports facilities, performing tasks such as environmental maintenance and administrative support.
A county official said, “Considering that most participants are elderly, we are devoting great effort to preventing safety accidents by frequently providing safety education and cautionary notes,” and added, “We ask workers for special attention and voluntary cooperation.”
