Korea Toyota and Sejong Center Join Hands to Support Arts Education for Children and Youth
40 Million Won Donated to Support Arts Education Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toyota Motor Korea and Toyota Financial Services Korea announced on the 20th that they signed a business agreement with Sejong Center for the Performing Arts to promote arts education for children and adolescents and donated 40 million KRW in sponsorship funds.
Continuing support for the Sejong Dream Tree Orchestra from last year, Toyota Korea's sponsorship this year will be used for professional instrument education, regular concerts, and winter camps for about 80 students, including orchestra members and students from Seoul School for the Blind.
Toyota Motor Korea signed its first business agreement with Sejong Center for the Performing Arts last year and supported music education for eight months, expanding support not only to children and adolescents but also to students at Seoul School for the Blind. In December last year, they held the "2021 Sejong Dream Tree Orchestra Regular Concert with Toyota Motor Korea" online.
The business agreement ceremony held the day before was attended by Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Motor Korea; Hoi-seung Jung, President of Toyota Financial Services Korea; and Hosang Ahn, President of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
