'Bungeo Samanco' and 'Bbangttoa' Prices Rise... 20% Increase Starting August
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Binggrae announced on the 19th that it will raise the prices of some ice cream products starting next month.
Binggrae is in discussions with distribution channels to increase the prices of Bungeo-ssamanco and Bbangttoa by 20% starting next month. Accordingly, the selling prices of these products are expected to rise from 1,000 won to 1,200 won.
A Binggrae representative said, "We are negotiating price increases due to rising costs of raw materials, labor, and logistics," adding, "The increase targets items that were excluded during the price hike earlier this year."

In March, Binggrae raised the prices of ice cream products such as Together and Melona once before. The retail price of Together increased from 5,500 won to 6,000 won, and Melona rose from 800 won to 1,000 won.
