Son Heung-min (30, Tottenham), who completed the preseason tour in Korea, expressed his gratitude to domestic fans, calling them "the best in South Korea."
After the second match of the Coupang Play Series against Sevilla (Spain) held on the 16th at Suwon World Cup Stadium, Son wrote on his social media (SNS), "I love you. I don't know if I deserve this kind of love, but I will do my best to repay the support and love you send me."

The English professional football team Tottenham conducted a preseason tour in Korea ahead of the 2022-2023 season. They arrived through Incheon International Airport on the 10th, played a friendly match against the K League select team 'Team K League' on the 13th, and faced Sevilla on the 16th.
Tottenham received enthusiastic welcomes from domestic fans. From the airport arrival hall, countless crowds greeted the Tottenham players, and about 6,000 fans gathered for the first open training session alone. Over 100,000 spectators watched the two friendly matches combined.
Harry Kane also posted on SNS, "Thank you for all the support in Seoul. It was truly amazing, and I had an unforgettable preseason."
Lucas Moura wrote, "It was great to get to know the country called South Korea a little better and experience its culture. The incredible support and cheers from so many fans were amazing, and knowing that I am receiving so much support from a distant country, far from where I live, is a huge motivation for me."
