[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City announced that it will close the Jamsugyo Bridge at 9 a.m. on the 14th due to rising water levels in the Han River caused by increased discharge from the Paldang Dam following rainfall upstream.
According to Seoul City, at 7:35 a.m. on the same day, the water level reached 5.5 meters, the pedestrian restriction level, leading to a ban on pedestrian traffic first. As the water level continued to rise and reached 6.2 meters, vehicle traffic was also restricted at 9 a.m.
