He added that since the first day of the hottest period (Chobok) falls on Saturday, he prepared Samgyetang for lunch on Friday the 15th, the day before, and urged everyone to enjoy the meal and overcome the hot summer together.
On the 12th, Governor Kim briefly shared his reflections on the first ten days since his inauguration through a post on the provincial government intranet.
He first said, "Ten days have passed since my inauguration," and expressed, "I have been very busy, but I was glad to have many opportunities to meet with the staff." He continued, "The staff are consistently hardworking and competent," and expressed gratitude, saying, "I was also pleased to have comfortable conversations with employees I met at the cafeteria and the first-floor cafe."
He also noted, "It seems that the provincial government employees are very curious about personnel and organizational management," and promised, "I will stabilize things as quickly as possible. I will make fairness and transparency the two pillars of organizational management."
Furthermore, he added, "I will ensure fairness in personnel and organizational management so that there are no privileges or unfair advantages."
In addition, he emphasized, "It is basic that public officials work hard," and said, "On top of that, we will all work happily as one team."
