According to the police, the National Police Agency will deploy about 1,000 personnel, including cyber investigation officers under the Provincial Police Agency, firearm officers from police stations nationwide, and 'Nuri Cops,' cyber honorary police officers belonging to frontline investigation departments, to monitor harmful related information circulated in cyberspace for about a month.
Posting homemade firearm manufacturing methods on the internet can result in imprisonment for up to three years or a fine of up to 7 million won.

The police also plan to strengthen monitoring of firearm and explosive manufacturing methods posted via overseas IPs or sites, and will immediately delete and block related content upon discovery.
