Two Ships Collide Near Sacheon Daebang Port... No Casualties or Marine Pollution Reported

According to the Sacheon Coast Guard, a 1.48-ton motorboat that departed from Samcheonpo Port and was fishing nearby collided with a 2.43-ton coastal composite vessel preparing for operations at sea.
The Sacheon Coast Guard dispatched the coastal rescue boat from Sacheon Police Substation to the scene and confirmed that both vessels only sustained minor damage. All six people on the motorboat and one person on the coastal composite vessel were unharmed, with no casualties or marine pollution reported.
During the investigation, breathalyzer tests were conducted on both captains, but no alcohol was detected. The motorboat sustained minor damage to the starboard stern guardrail, and the composite vessel had light damage to the port bow bitt.
