This sales exhibition was held for ten days as a subsidiary event of the first-ever 'Women-Owned Business Week (July 5th?8th),' which was elevated to a statutory event following the revision of the Women-Owned Business Support Act. The sales event was conducted simultaneously through TV home shopping broadcasts, offline sales exhibitions, and online special promotions.
On the public home shopping channel's 'Women-Owned Business Product Sales Broadcast,' eight products were featured, achieving sales of 20,000 orders.
The offline sales exhibition, titled 'W Market Special Exhibition,' was held from the 1st to the 10th at major domestic retailers including Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch, Happy Department Store Mokdong Branch, Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, and Starfield Goyang Branch, with special in-store events.
The online special promotion took place from the 5th to the 8th on LotteON, TMON, and WEMAKEPRICE, with 132 women-owned businesses participating under a vacation concept. A representative from the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association stated, "It is expected that sales of approximately 1 billion KRW will be achieved through the sales exhibition."
