Park Hyung-soo, the party's floor spokesperson, said in a verbal comment that day, "We have also criticized public institution heads with different philosophies who continue to stay in their positions and those who were appointed as 'stalwart personnel' at the end of the Moon Jae-in administration," adding, "I think discussion on the (term alignment) part is necessary."
However, he emphasized, "We need to discuss it first. It is not something to be done hastily."
He continued, "It is not about unconditionally aligning the terms, but institutions that must guarantee neutrality should follow their own terms," explaining, "It is not desirable to align the terms of all public institution heads, so review and research on this matter are necessary."
