Lotte ON's Warehouse Discount Mart Max Products 'Popular'... "Delivery Nationwide"
Premium Imported Meat Sales Begin This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte ON announced on the 8th that the ‘Max Exclusive Section,’ which sells bulk products from Max, Lotte Mart’s warehouse-style discount store, is receiving a positive response.
According to Lotte ON, sales in the Max Exclusive Section increased by 60% year-on-year in the second quarter. This figure is about three times higher than that of the first quarter. Lotte ON launched the Max Exclusive Section last April, offering high-demand bulk items such as Max 3-ply kitchen towels, premium toilet paper, sanitary bags, and rubber wrap nitrile gloves at prices approximately 20% lower than those of general large supermarkets.
Starting this month, Lotte ON will begin selling premium imported meat, a popular product at Lotte Mart Max. Considering freshness, frozen products will be operated on a trial basis first, with plans to gradually expand the product lineup. To commemorate the online sale of Max imported meat, Australian steamed short ribs and U.S. LA-style beef flower ribs will be introduced. These products can be received as frozen items nationwide, except in island and mountainous areas and Jeju region.
