JinMatrix Completes Development of Two Monkeypox Diagnostic Kits... "Testing Time Reduced to 40 Minutes"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Jin Matrix announced on the 6th that it has completed the development of two new monkeypox diagnostic kits.
The two developed products are ‘Neoplex MPX,’ which diagnoses monkeypox infection, and ‘Neoplex MPX-VZV,’ which can simultaneously differentiate and diagnose monkeypox and shingles.
The monkeypox-only diagnostic kit ‘Neoplex MPX’ can differentiate the monkeypox virus from other herpes viruses such as smallpox, chickenpox, and vaccinia virus, and reads two genes to enhance diagnostic specificity for the monkeypox virus.
Additionally, the ‘Neoplex MPX-VZV’ simultaneous diagnostic kit is a diagnostic product that differentiates monkeypox and varicella-zoster virus, which have similar clinical symptoms such as fever, headache, fatigue, and vesicular rash.
