The 31st Road Day Commemoration Ceremony and Road Policy Seminar to be Held on the 7th
On the 7th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 6th that it will hold the '31st Road Day' commemorative ceremony and 'Road Policy Seminar' at 2 p.m. at The-K Hotel in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, in cooperation with the Korea Expressway Association.
Road Day (July 7) was established in 1992 to commemorate the opening of the Gyeongbu Expressway (July 7, 1970) and has been held annually as a government-level ceremony to promote pride among road traffic professionals and foster the development of the road industry.
At the ceremony, 62 individuals who have contributed to the development of the road traffic sector will be awarded government commendations and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport citations.

Following the ceremony, the Road Policy Seminar will discuss topics under the theme of 'Future Road Changes According to Mobility Innovation,' including ① changes in future mobility and responses of the transportation system, ② highway mobility as a service (HaaS), and ③ underground mobility services provided by deep underground roads.
