According to Homeplus on the 6th, fruit sales from the 30th of last month to the 3rd of this month grew by about 17% compared to the weekend two weeks prior. In particular, as customers seeking summer seasonal fruits surged, domestic fruit sales rose by 10% compared to the same period last year. Shine Muscat sales increased sixfold (500%) year-on-year, watermelon sales rose by 34%, nectarine by 30%, and plum sales increased by 22%.
Homeplus will offer discounts on summer seasonal fruits for customers paying with nine major event cards for one week starting from the 7th. Featured products include soft peaches, Daeseok plums, greenhouse Shine Muscat, watermelons from famous production areas, and musk melons at discounted prices.
