According to foreign media on the 4th (local time), a shooting occurred near the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that night.
Two police officers were shot, sustaining injuries to the head and right shoulder respectively, and were treated at a nearby hospital. Their lives are not in danger.
The crowd gathered to watch the fireworks at the scene was also urgently evacuated. A citizen told a local broadcaster, "The police shouted, 'Run, run.'"
