[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Dong-Eui University soccer team has been selected as the representative of Busan for the "103rd National Sports Festival Men's College Soccer Division," which will be held in Ulsan from October 7 to 13.
In the selection tournament held from June 24 to 30 at Gijang World Cup Village, organized by the Busan Football Association, Dong-Eui University advanced to the finals by defeating Dong-Eui College of Science 4-0 in their first match.
In the tournament-style final, Dong-Eui University defeated Busan University of Foreign Studies to advance to the final match against Dong-A University.
Dong-Eui University conceded the first goal in the first half, but scored an equalizer during a corner kick contest in the 4th minute of the second half, and just before the end of the match, player Jeong Jin-gyu successfully converted a penalty kick, securing a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory.
