KeyEast Expands In-House Content Production with Subsidiary Studio Flow
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] KeyEast is expanding its business scope by entering the variety show production business.
On the 4th, KeyEast announced that its subsidiary Studio Flow will produce the original variety show "Cheongchun MT" for the online video service (OTT) TVING.
"Cheongchun MT," set to be released in September, is planned by producer Kim Sung-yoon, who directed popular dramas such as "Love in the Moonlight," "Itaewon Class," and "Alchemy of Souls." Joining him are writer Ji Hyun-sook of "2 Days & 1 Night Season 3" and producer Jung Jong-chan of "Knowing Bros."
The cast of "Cheongchun MT" includes actors Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Park Seo-joon, Ahn Bo-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, and Choi Sung-eun. Expectations are high as the leads from dramas directed by producer Kim Sung-yoon will appear.
A KeyEast official said, "It is meaningful that we are expanding into variety shows in addition to our existing strength in drama production," adding, "Starting with collaboration with Studio Flow, we will expand joint production activities into various fields such as dramas."

Studio Flow is a content production company established by industry experts including producer Mo Wan-il, who directed the drama "The World of the Married," and Ham Young-hoon, former JTBC drama director. KeyEast acquired Studio Flow for about 30 billion KRW on March 28.
