Mercedes-Benz New EQB AMG Line Launched in Korea... 77 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 29th that it has launched the new electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) EQB 300 4MATIC AMG Line.
The new vehicle is the second compact SUV introduced after the EQA. With the optional third-row seats, it can accommodate up to seven passengers. The 5-seater model offers a maximum cargo space of 1710ℓ, with the second-row seats folding in a 60:40 split. The third row in the 7-seater model consists of two individual seats, suitable for passengers up to 165 cm tall and capable of accommodating child car seats.
Equipped with a 66.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and a self-developed intelligent thermal management system, it can travel up to 313 km on a single charge. The fast charger supports up to 100 kW output, while the slow charger supports up to 9.6 kW output. Fast charging from 10% to 80% battery capacity takes about 30 minutes.
The new vehicle features motors on both the front and rear axles, delivering a maximum output of 168 kW and a peak torque of 390 Nm. Depending on driving conditions, the control unit on the axles variably distributes torque up to 100 times per second, enhancing grip and driving stability.
It includes various driving safety assistance features such as a driving assistance package that maintains distance from the vehicle ahead, adjusts speed, and assists with braking and starting. The smartphone integration package supporting Apple and Android, as well as an air purification package, are also standard. The price is 77 million KRW including VAT, and it is available for purchase at nationwide showrooms and online platforms.
