Suncheon City Operates 'Mobile National Complaints Center' for Small Business Owners' Grievance Consultations
Under the National Rights Commission's Supervision on the 30th Lower Market
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 28th that it will operate the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission’s ‘Mobile People’s Petition Office’ at the Araetjang Merchants’ Association Education Center from 2 PM to 4 PM on the 30th.
The ‘Mobile People’s Petition Office’ is a service where experts in various fields collaborate with local governments to provide on-site consultations for residents who have difficulty visiting the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission or applying for civil petitions online.
Thirteen counselors, including specialized investigators from various fields of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and counselors from partner organizations, will conduct consultations at this Suncheon Mobile People’s Petition Office.
Consultations will cover various grievances, including those from traditional markets and small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, as well as issues in industry, environment, and agriculture and forestry sectors.
A Suncheon City official said, “We hope that those who have had difficulty resolving civil complaints or need expert consultation will receive detailed advice through this Mobile People’s Petition Office.”

Meanwhile, in 2020, Suncheon City signed a win-win agreement with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Araetjang Merchants’ Association to resolve grievances of small business owners and revitalize traditional markets.
