Daegu Environment Agency Certified as Top Institution in International Proficiency Test ... International Recognition of Reliability in Environmental Measurement and Analysis

The Daegu Environmental Office underwent an international proficiency test conducted by the American Environmental Resources Association, a global proficiency institution, to improve the reliability of measurement and analysis capabilities. This evaluation took place from April 4 to June 2, with outstanding analysis institutions worldwide participating (706 institutions for drinking water, 941 institutions for water quality, and 299 institutions for soil).
In this test, the Environmental Office received a 'satisfactory' evaluation (standard score: Z-score 2.0 or below) in all 49 items, including 17 items in the drinking water field, 20 items in the water quality field, and 12 items in the soil field.
Since participating in the international proficiency test in 2020, the Daegu Regional Environmental Office has received a 'satisfactory' rating in all participating items for three consecutive years, maintaining an optimized analysis environment and reliable analysis results as a national institution.
