Sampyo Group Recruits Development Expert Kim Han-gi, Former Daelim Industrial President

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Sampyo Group, a construction basic materials specialist company, has appointed a real estate development expert with extensive experience in the construction industry as its CEO to secure new growth engines and expand its business areas.
On the 27th, Sampyo Group announced that it had appointed President Kim Han-gi as the General Manager of Business Development at Sampyo Industrial Co., Ltd. and CEO of SPS Estate Co., Ltd.
President Kim is well known as an expert in the development field who has successfully led multiple projects. He has abundant management experience not only in architecture but also in plant and energy businesses. In particular, during his tenure as president of Daelim Industrial, he was recognized for his management skills and business execution capabilities by generating business performance through the expansion of the housing business.
Born in 1961, President Kim graduated from Seoul High School and Yonsei University with a degree in Architectural Engineering. After joining Daelim Industrial in 1984, he served as CEO of Samho, Head of Daelim Industrial's Architecture Business Division, and President and CEO.
From May 2016 to March 2018, he served as the 11th President of the Korea Housing Association, and in April of the same year, he moved to Boseong Group, where he served as Vice Chairman of Boseong Industrial and CEO of Hanyang.
Based on this experience, President Kim plans to oversee large-scale projects such as the development of the Seongsu factory site and the construction of the new office building in Susaek, which are being carried out at the Sampyo Group level, and to drive the group's core future strategies.
