Emart24 Collaborates with Chef Jang Jin-woo to Launch Two Curry Lunchbox Varieties
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Emart24 announced on the 27th that it will release Bulgogi Cheese Curry Lunchbox and Spam Cheese Curry Lunchbox in collaboration with Chef Jang Jinwoo, utilizing curry.
The Bulgogi Cheese Curry Lunchbox and Spam Cheese Curry Lunchbox are products based on curry that replicates the taste of specialty restaurants, topped generously with mozzarella cheese to enhance the flavor and taste of the cheese. On top of beef tallow, onions are caramelized, then Japanese-style curry called Java Curry, tomato paste, and fresh cream are added and simmered to create a deep curry flavor. Chef Jang Jinwoo personally conducted taste tests, and it took over a month just to develop the curry flavor.
Emart24's strategy through this collaboration with Chef Jang Jinwoo is to further elevate the taste competitiveness of convenience store lunchboxes. They plan to continuously introduce collaborative products by either directly adopting recipes from popular restaurants or having chefs participate in taste development, aiming to make convenience store lunchboxes recognized as a proper meal.
