Proposal to Increase 5 Research Fellows at the Legal Research and Training Institute Passes Cabinet Meeting
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The "Partial Amendment Ordinance on the Organization of the Ministry of Justice and Its Affiliated Agencies," which increases the number of research fellows at the Judicial Research and Training Institute by five, passed the Cabinet meeting on the 21st.
A presidential office official stated that the government resolved this at the Cabinet meeting held in the morning, presided over by President Yoon Seok-yeol.
The "Partial Amendment Ordinance on the Regulations Concerning the Organization of the Prosecutor's Office," which allows all criminal divisions to investigate the six major crimes, also passed. Previously, investigations into the six major crimes could only be conducted by the 'Criminal Final Division' with the approval of the Prosecutor General.
