Changwon Welfare Foundation Examined 'Working Conditions of Youth Training Facility Staff' as First Research Project of the Year

The foundation is conducting 10 research projects this year to derive policy implications for regional issues, among which the final report meeting on the survey of the actual conditions of workers at youth training facilities in Changwon City and measures to improve their treatment was held on the 17th.
According to the foundation, this research project was conducted based on Article 7 of the ordinance concerning the improvement of treatment and status of youth instructors in Changwon City, which mandates a survey on the level of compensation and payment status of youth instructors.
The foundation conducted a full survey targeting workers at youth training facilities and explained that it comprehensively reviewed the results of surveys and interviews conducted since March.
They derived policy recommendations related to compensation levels and treatment improvements, and added that the research was concluded after collecting opinions from related administrative bodies, academia, and experts.
