President Yoon Orders Improvement Measures for Lease 3 Laws... "Benefits for Cooperative Landlords"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] President Yoon Suk-yeol on the 20th ordered to "thoroughly analyze the impact of the Three Lease Laws and review what parts of the system need improvement."
At the senior secretaries' meeting held at the Yongsan Presidential Office on the same day, President Yoon said, "It has been two years since the implementation of the Three Lease Laws, and during such a period, uncertainty in the jeonse market can increase," according to a presidential office official.
The official also conveyed that President Yoon instructed to "expand benefits for cooperative landlords who minimize rent increases and increase support to reduce the burden on tenants."
He added, "It can be seen as President Yoon indicating the direction to move forward now," and "there will be follow-up from the relevant ministries."
