Release of 'Dongchimi Mul Naengmyeon' with Boseong Organic Green Tea Powder
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province announced on the 20th that it has recently launched "Delicious Green Tea Dongchimi Mul Naengmyeon," which adds the flavor of green tea by including organic powdered green tea from Boseongsan, in response to the rapid growth in demand for home meal replacement (HMR) products due to COVID-19.
Green Tea Dongchimi Mul Naengmyeon is a product targeted at busy modern people, especially the "nahollojok" who have to handle everything alone.
It includes domestic roasted eggs and stir-fried kimchi, which are not found in existing naengmyeon products, allowing consumers to enjoy a richer taste.
This product development was achieved by transferring rice pasta manufacturing technology and green tea powder addition technology, researched and developed by the Tea Industry Research Institute of Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, free of charge to Yeongam-based company Healing Co., Ltd.
It can be purchased at Hangajok Food, a food distribution and sales store located in Mokpo. The price is 8,200 KRW per pack for two servings.
Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services is planning to expand sales channels by signing agreements with local distribution companies and others. They plan to take the lead in promotions to increase product awareness.
A representative of Healing Co., Ltd. said, "In line with the recent consumer trend of pursuing health, we have launched Green Tea Dongchimi Mul Naengmyeon containing powdered green tea," adding, "We plan to release various green tea meal kit series such as green tea jajangmyeon and green tea curry noodles."
