Kolon FnC Series, Launches 'Arario Project by C Kim x Series'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Kolon Industries FnC Division (Kolon FnC) announced on the 17th that its menswear brand series is collaborating with artist CI KIM (Kim Chang-il) to launch the "Arario project by CI KIM x series."
CI KIM is the head of the Arario Museum and a world-renowned art collector, known for his experimental and unique art world. The series features three of CI KIM's drawings on eight different T-shirts. The graphics use works where CI KIM spontaneously drew inspirations with colorful crayons on mail and magazines, and the series presents a total of eight T-shirts using fabrics in three contrasting colors: black, white, and gray.
CI KIM also directly participated in the T-shirt design. Details such as T-shirts with sleeves of different lengths on each side?long enough to reach the thigh or short enough to avoid rolling up sleeves to check a wristwatch?and pockets for storing masks reflect the artist’s perspective on the needs of modern people living in the post-COVID era.
A representative from the series stated, "Both series and CI KIM share the commonality of having achieved new horizons in their respective fields," and added, "Through collaboration with CI KIM, we were able to incorporate a new perspective on the item of T-shirts."
