Sejong City Supports Design Development for Youth Enterprises

[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City supports design development for local youth enterprises.

The city announced on the 16th that it will recruit local young entrepreneurs and young farmers to participate in the 'Youth Enterprise Design Support Project' from the 16th to the 29th.

The project, which started in March, aims to enhance the competitiveness and increase sales of youth enterprises. Recruitment will be conducted quarterly, with a final participation of 10 businesses (teams) per quarter.

This month, applications for the third quarter will be accepted, and support is scheduled to begin next month. Eligible support areas include ▲brand design ▲package design ▲editorial design such as brochures and catalogs ▲exhibition booth graphic design, among others. Selected companies can choose one of the six categories to receive support.

Support is provided in the form of direct design consulting by the city’s design professionals to assist youth enterprises in design development. However, production costs such as printing and photography fees must be borne by the companies themselves.

Applicants must be young entrepreneurs or prospective young entrepreneurs born after January 1, 1982, whose business registration certificate location and resident registration address are in Sejong as of the announcement date, and who have been registered for less than seven years or are preparing to start a business.

Additionally, young farmers born after January 1, 1977, whose agricultural management entity registered farmland location and resident registration address are in Sejong City as of the announcement date, are also eligible to apply.

Applications can be submitted by downloading the required documents from the city’s website notice board, filling them out, and sending them via email.
