Securing the Golden Time for Cardiac Arrest, Police Officers Take the Lead
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Police Agency announced on the 15th that it invited a professional CPR instructor to conduct CPR training and automated external defibrillator (AED) usage training.
About 70 people participated in this training, including investigative police officers, police station disaster management personnel, and officers from district police stations and patrol offices.
The police expect that the theory and practical training focused on cases that may occur in emergency situations such as cardiac arrest at crime scenes will greatly help in responding to emergencies.
A Gwangju Police Agency official said, “This training was prepared to help save precious lives when citizens in cardiac arrest are found, and we will conduct regular training programs to prepare for emergency situations.”
