Jeonnam Yeonggwang-gun Selects 11 Outstanding Regulatory Innovation Projects in 2022

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that it held the 3rd Regulatory Reform Committee chaired by Vice Governor Kim Jang-oh and selected 11 outstanding tasks in the '2022 Regulatory Innovation Idea Contest.'

This contest was held for 50 days from March 21 to May 9, inviting ideas from residents and businesses to achieve regulatory innovation that residents can feel, receiving a total of 70 proposals.

Among them, 20 proposals that passed the preliminary screening were submitted to the Regulatory Reform Committee, and through the final evaluation, a total of 11 outstanding tasks (1 grand prize, 3 excellence awards, 7 encouragement awards) were selected.

The outstanding tasks include ▲Grand Prize (Improvement of low-emission vehicle sticker issuance) ▲Excellence Awards (Addition of merchant number inquiry function when registering Cultural Nuri Card merchants, allowing duplicate applications for Women Farmers Voucher and Cultural Nuri Card, automatic linkage of basic pension payment for disabled pension recipients).

Yeonggwang-gun plans to award the outstanding proposers within this month, and the regulatory improvement tasks received this time will be actively proposed to central government ministries after consultation with the relevant departments.

A county official said, “Through this contest, we will do our best to actively improve unreasonable regulations directly found by residents and make regulatory innovation centered on communication and participation.”
