Gwangju Jeonnam Small and Medium Business Administration Additional Recruitment for 'Smart Store Technology Dissemination Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration announced on the 15th that it will additionally recruit small business owners to participate in the ‘Smart Store Technology Dissemination Project’ until the budget is exhausted.
The ‘Smart Store Technology Dissemination Project’ supports small business owners by distributing smart technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR)·Virtual Reality (VR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to small business stores so that they can respond to the digitalization of consumer and management environments.
This year, a total of about 6,900 small business stores nationwide will be selected and supported, categorized into ▲individual small business owners ▲shopping districts ▲industry-specific cooperatives and associations.

This additional recruitment is characterized by continuous recruitment considering the demand from those preparing new businesses or wishing to introduce smart technologies during internal remodeling stages.
Upon final selection, participants can freely choose smart technologies from the pool of 140 smart technology supply companies, and 70% of the technology introduction cost will be supported, ranging from 5 million KRW (general type) to 15 million KRW (leading type).
Director Jang Dae-gyo stated, “Through the expansion of the smart technology dissemination scale this time, we will actively support overcoming the management crisis caused by COVID-19 and becoming competitive smart stores.”
