Suwon City Cleans and Maintains 'Suwon Station Plaza Area' with Homeless Residents
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] On the 14th, Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province carried out environmental maintenance work around Suwon Station Plaza, where homeless people reside.
Suwon City announced that officials from the Welfare Policy Division of City Hall, the Paldal-gu Public Safety Division, the Maesan-dong Administrative Welfare Center, and representatives from the Suwon Restart Homeless Comprehensive Support Center worked together to maintain the surrounding environment to protect the homeless residing in the Suwon Station Plaza area.
The Homeless Comprehensive Support Center guided the homeless and provided information about support programs on that day. The Paldal-gu Public Safety Division cleaned Suwon Station Plaza using water spraying vehicles, and the Maesan-dong Administrative Welfare Center cleaned the plaza area. The Welfare Policy Division of Suwon City oversaw the joint environmental maintenance.
