On the 14th, Seo stated on Facebook, "The Democratic Party has its own assets that it has done best."
He explained, "We acknowledge each other's differences and engage in intense debates to determine the direction we should take together under the name of the Democratic Party, presenting that as values and vision, leading the Republic of Korea. The competition and coexistence of diverse opinions are the Democratic Party's greatest strength and asset."
He added, "However, the Democratic Party is currently failing to utilize that asset. Emotional criticism is rampant, and by insisting that only my opinion is correct, how can we achieve unity and create innovation? We must restore our democratic tradition and democratic dynamism."
